Move-In 2025 Image 1

Arbor BLU sent several move-in preparation emails during your summer. Be sure and check your suggested move in time before you arrive. These move-in times were carefully selected to help keep the move-in process smooth and steady!

Prior to move-in, please be sure to double check your move-in checklist for anything outstanding. You will find your move-in checklist on your Resident Portal under Messages & Alerts. Please ensure that everything here is completed as this checklist is required before you receive keys. For your convenience, you will receive the checklist via email as well! In your move-in checklist, you will notice that we require Proof of Renter's Insurance. You may provide your own renter's insurance, otherwise, you will default to our Property Liability Waiver for $13.95 per month, which is not personal renter’s insurance. Please ask us all the questions to make sure you understand which is best for you!

Don’t forget, you are automatically enrolled in Rentistry, a credit building tool for the resident. This service is $6.95/month. If you would like to opt out, please visit http://resident.foxen.com/residentfinder/unenroll.

When You Arrive Cover Image

When You Arrive

We do a super easy drive up move-in! When you pull up in front of the building, you will see a Check-in station sign under the big tent. You will need to first be ready to show us your I.D so that we can verify you as a resident. During this Check-in process you will receive your keys and parking information! You will also find the hired movers we’ve provided for an easier move in! The movers will help you transport what you have in your vehicle to your apartment free of charge, although they do appreciate tips! It’s that easy!

Parking

Once checked in, and movers have unloaded your vehicle, you can then move your car to long term parking in the Forest Street Parking Garage. Please note that there is a fee to park in this garage as we do not have any visitors parking onsite. If you are a resident who has signed up for parking, you will be given your parking pass during Check-in. This pass is for the Forest Street parking garage and you can park anywhere in the parking garage as there are no reserved spots in the garage. Please note that some spaces in the garage are labeled with special restrictions.

Inventory & Condition Cover Image

Inventory & Condition

Once you’ve received your keys, the Arbor BLU team will send you an electronic form to your resident portal. This checklist is called the Inventory & Condition form which is a required form with a deadline of 7 days to complete. On this form, you will go room by room to review, report and snap pictures of any pre-existing blemish you find to ensure the property knows what was already there before you! This protects you from paying any damage fees during your move out because the blemish was not caused by you.
